Day 01 :
Arrival at Bagdogra – Transfer to Phuentsholing

On reaching Bagdogra Airport our representative will welcome you. Drive towards the Indo-Bhutan border town of Phuentsholing ( a border town in Southern Bhutan serving as the primary gateway from India as travellers enters from Jaigaon)

Complete immigration formalities and relax after your journey.

Overnight stay in Phuentsholing

Day 02 :
Phuentsholing to Thimphu (150 Kms Approx. 5–6 Hours)

After breakfast, begin a scenic drive to Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan located at an altitude of 7655 feet above sea level through lush forests and mountain roads.

Cloudy weather with mist & fog makes the journey even more beautiful, on the way you may take a short break for tea/coffee or Suja (Bhutanese tea) with noodles.

Tashichho Dzong

Located on the northern edge of Thimphu along the banks of the Wang Chhu River, this impressive fortress-monastery serves as an important administrative and religious centre of Bhutan. Originally constructed in 1216, it has long been associated with the country’s governance and spiritual leadership. Today, it houses key government offices and the central monastic body, making it one of the most significant landmarks in Bhutan.

Centenary Farmers Market (Explore on your own)

A lively marketplace where local farmers from Thimphu Valley and nearby regions gather to sell fresh, organic produce. It’s a great spot to interact with locals and experience Bhutan’s authentic lifestyle. Visitors can browse through seasonal fruits, vegetables, handmade products, and local specialties such as honey and mushrooms.

Clock Tower Square (Evening Leisure Walk | Explore on your own)

A popular hangout in the heart of the city, Clock Tower Square stands out with its unique Bhutanese design and four-sided clock tower. Thimphu to Paro (approx. 1–1.5 hours)

After breakfast drive to Paro following the beautiful Paro Chu river.

Day 04 :
Paro to Tiger’s Nest Hike Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery)

After an early breakfast, prepare for the highlight of your Bhutan trip:

A breath-taking monastery perched dramatically on a cliff at 3,120 meters.

The hike takes around 4–5 hours (round trip) and offers stunning views of the Paro valley.

It is one of the most iconic landmarks of Bhutan and a must-visit for every traveler.

After completing the hike and returning, head back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05 :
Paro to Phuentsholing (Approx. 150 km | 4.5–5 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, begin your return journey from Paro to Phuentsholing, enjoying a scenic drive through winding mountain roads, lush forests, and charming Bhutanese landscapes.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. You can take a relaxed walk around the town, explore local markets, or enjoy authentic Bhutanese cuisine. Don’t miss the chance to try freshly prepared momos and other local delicacies at nearby restaurants.

Optional Experience: Chele La Pass Excursion (At Additional Cost)

For travelers seeking an extended experience, opt for a visit to Chele La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan for majestic view of the Himalayan Peaks in Bhutan.

Located at an altitude of around 3,988 meters, Chele La offers spectacular panoramic views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks and pristine valleys. During winter months, the route is often adorned with snow, frozen streams, and alpine scenery, making it a paradise for nature lovers and photographers. On clear days, you may even spot grazing yaks in the distance, adding to the charm of this high-altitude destination.

Return to Phuentsholing (if opting for the excursion, plan accordingly) and relax for the night.

Phuentsholing to Bagdogra Airport (Approx. 150 km | 4 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed towards Bagdogra Airport, marking the end of your memorable Bhutan journey. Enjoy the scenic drive as you transition from the tranquil landscapes of Bhutan back into India.
